The JoshJoshua Camp Rocksua Center for Neurological Disorders Summer Camp is for children with Tourette, High Functioning Autism and associated disorders. Cabin Counselors are assigned to a cabin with five or six campers. Set on a beautiful wooded site, the camp provides easy access to all facilities for children with disabilities. Programs may include: archery, crafts, an annual cook-out, swimming, games, special programs and old fashioned campfire singing and skits. The camp is held at the Rotary Youth Club Camp – Lee’s Summit, MO, next to Lake Jacomo.

Campers are taught acceptance of everyone and to treat each other with respect no matter the differences. Staff model this behavior every day, showing their campers what it means to include everyone and be part of a diverse world.

Camp Staff Application Instructions

You will be asked to sign-up at the registration site. Then you will be asked about the “New Participant”- this is where you list your name and DOB. When asked to click on grade or age, please mark “Staff”. Once the application is completed, you will receive an email from us with information about completing a background check. We will contact you with hiring decisions within a few weeks. If you have questions, feel free to reach out and call us at 816-763-7605.
