Learn Necessary Social Skills

The Joshua Center Lego Club provides opportunities for developing social and communication skills. Children with neurological disorders often experience difficulties with play and basic social skills. Addressing the social deficits with high interest activities offers a unique opportunity for social success. When kids are happy and engaged they are more willing to participate in learning experiences.

While all of our classes are designed with the interests of the children and concerns of the parents, a lot of these kids have a keen interest in playing with Legos. Our goals are to incorporate specific social skills objectives into every Lego themed lesson.

Each class is independent and limited to 8 students.
